Five Night Workshop Itinerary, Plus an Additional Arrival Day

Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
Welcome and Transfer: Meet us at Tenerife South Airport, where you will be greeted and transported to your comfortable accommodation.
Time to Unwind: This additional arrival day gives you time to settle in, relax and recover from your journey before the workshop begins.

Day 2: Introduction to Tenerife
Workshop Briefing: Meet your tutors and fellow participants and learn more about the exciting days ahead.
Astrophotography Introduction: After breakfast, we will cover the fundamentals of astrophotography, including how to photograph the Milky Way and other constellations.
Location Scouting: We will explore suitable daytime and nighttime spots, helping you plan compositions for the sessions ahead.
Afternoon Rest: Enjoy time to recharge before heading out for golden hour, sunset and nighttime photography.
Evening Photography: Capture Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes, swirling ocean clouds and spectacular dark skies.

Day 3: Developing Your Photography
Morning Review: Review your photographs, receive feedback and refine your camera settings and composition techniques.
Practical Learning: Continue developing your landscape and astrophotography skills through guided tuition and location scouting.
Afternoon Rest: Take time to relax before the evening session.
Sunset and Night Photography: Return to Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes for another opportunity to photograph the golden hour, sunset, the Milky Way and other constellations.

Day 4: Advanced Techniques in Practice
Post Processing Workshop: Spend the morning learning techniques in Lightroom, Photoshop and specialist software such as Sequator and Starry Landscape Stacker.
Afternoon Exploration: Revisit favourite spots or explore new locations for creative landscape photography.
Evening Mastery: Take a deeper look at star tracking, image stacking and nebula photography before putting these techniques into practice beneath Tenerife’s dark skies.

Day 5: Star Trails and Fine Tuning
Flexible Start: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before continuing with practical photography tuition.
Image Processing: Process your favourite photographs with guidance, helping you bring out the best in your landscape and astrophotography images.
Mastering Star Trails: Learn how to create mesmerising star trail photographs, from planning and camera settings to capturing and processing the final image.
Evening Photography: Put your new techniques into practice during a guided nighttime session.

Day 6: Final Photography Session
Image Review and Feedback: Reflect on your progress, review your favourite photographs and receive guidance from your tutors.
Fine Tuning: Revisit key techniques and receive further support in any areas you would like to develop.
Final Evening Session: The final photography spot will be selected according to the weather and sky conditions, giving you the best available opportunity to capture more landscape and astrophotography images.

Day 7: Farewell and Departure
Check Out: Check out of your accommodation by 11.00 am.
Airport Transfer: We will arrange your transfer to Tenerife South Airport, where you will leave with new skills, memorable experiences and an impressive collection of photographs.
